A.F.R.A. – Anti Fascist Rock Action

WHERE WE STAND
Die Antifascist Rock Action (AFRA) ist aus der Stuttgarter Punk- und Hardcore-Szene heraus entstanden. Sie steht für die Selbstverständlichkeit von Antifaschismus sowie für ein solidarisches Bewusstsein.

Die AFRA kämpft für ein selbstbestimmtes Leben und tritt aktiv gegen jede Art von Diskriminierung ein – ganz gleich ob wegen Herkunft, Hautfarbe, Geschlecht, Sexualität oder Aussehen.

Mit der Organisation nichtkommerzieller Veranstaltungen, ermöglicht die AFRA eine freie kulturelle Entfaltung und ist damit eine Alternative zur kontrollierten und auf Profit ausgerichteten Unterhaltungsindustrie. Außerdem unterstützt die AFRA fortschrittliche linke Gruppen und deren Projekte.

Um die Bewegung zu stärken und möglichst viele Menschen zu erreichen, ist es wichtig die AFRA auch an anderen Orten zu etablieren. Viele Bands unterstützen das und verbreiten diese Message.

Developed from the Stuttgart Punk- and Hardcore scene the Antifascist Rock Action (AFRA) is a movement which stands for anti-fascism as a matter of course and solidary awareness.

Thus AFRA stands for action against any kind of discrimination due to origin, skin color, sex, sexuality or appearance. Furthermore, the intention is to point out the necessity to fight for a self-determined life.

Many bands supporting the concept of AFRA spread this message. Organizing non-commercial events AFRA does not only offer an alternative to the controlled and exclusively profit-oriented entertainment-industry but also enables free cultural development.

Moreover AFRA supports different progressive left-wing groups and self-governing projects. The aim is to establish AFRA at other places, too, in order to increase the movement and its impact and therefore to reach as much people as possible, irrespective of scenes.
